Bkkbrew sets no cookies. It uses your browser’s storage to remember your settings, and nothing else.
Cookies and browser storage
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Local storage is a similar feature that keeps information in your browser, but it isn’t sent with every request. This page covers both, because we use both.
Settings kept in your browser
These items are saved in your browser’s local storage. They’re needed for the features you use, stay on your device, and are never used to track you:
- Light, dark or system appearance, if you choose one.
- The maps app you prefer for directions.
- That you’ve seen the welcome, so it only shows on your first visit.
- Whether you read Bkkbrew in English or the local language.
- The last few shops you opened, so they show under Recents. Never sent anywhere.
- A random identifier the map library uses to count map loads for billing.
What we don’t use
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No social media tracking pixels.
- No cookies for fonts: the typeface is served from Bkkbrew itself, not from Google Fonts.
How to control them
You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Most browsers also have a private mode that clears everything when you close the window.
If you clear local storage, the site will forget your appearance, language, directions app and recent shops, and show the welcome again.
