Kasidis Laoboonmee started roasting in his home garage in 2016, quit his job in 2019, and spent a year traveling to coffee origins building sourcing networks before opening the first shop in Ploenchit in 2021. The roastery works directly with northern Thai farmers including the Chaosuwanwilai family's Sirinya Coffee farm in Chiang Rai under the #RISEwithTHEPEOPLE concept.
The Good Day espresso blend combines Thailand Sirinya Natural and Washed coffees with orange, chocolate, and caramel notes. The Coffeevine subscription service selected rise.bkk as its first featured specialty roaster from Thailand.
